Pioneering rock 'n' roller Bo Diddley has been released from a Florida hospital on September 5 after recovering from a heart attack.

The 78-year-old singer, who had a stroke earlier this year, has had a stent inserted to improve blood flow to his heart.

Bo Diddley, is recuperating at his Florida home. "With his health greatly improved, Diddley is happy to be home with his family and away from the hospital food," his publicist Susan Clary said
